GUADALAJARA, Mexico, July 01, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico, S.A.B. de C.V., (NYSE: PAC; BMV: GAP) (“the Company” or “GAP”) informs on the current status of Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V (“Aeromexico”) after the announcement made yesterday regarding the voluntary process of financial restructuring under Chapter 11 of the legislation of the United States Bankruptcy Code:

  • Aeromexico does not have past due balances with GAP as of the date of this press release.
  • As of May 31, its market share of passengers transported through GAP’s network represented 10.0%.

We reiterate our support to Aeromexico during its voluntary restructuring process and will provide the facilities necessary to continue their operations at our airports.

Company Description

Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico, S.A.B. de C.V. (GAP) operates 12 airports throughout Mexico’s Pacific region, including the major cities of Guadalajara and Tijuana, the four tourist destinations of Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, La Paz and Manzanillo, and six other mid-sized cities: Hermosillo, Guanajuato, Morelia, Aguascalientes, Mexicali and Los Mochis.
